Well now, how are things with you? My work has been on me with a pretty tough workload. I have had to back off the festivals this year. It is good to know that I only have a short time till work ends and I can retire. To make it official I have one year and about eight months to go!

Missing Barberville this weekend with something torn in my knee. Not sure what’s gonna happen. Keep ya posted!

Well welcome to summer in Florida! Good God has it been hot or what? I do believe that this must be the hottest I have seen for a long, long while. There’s nothing new on the homefront. Jacob is still in community college and working hard to get his AA. Since the school let out I have been bustling around the house cleaning, washing, cutting the lawn and soon I will put some new plants in the front flower bed.

The radio show is going well and soon I will be adding some “live” guest in the studio. The show is on WSLR 96.5 alternate Wednesdays from 7pm - 9pm. I also will be manning the WSLR table at the Farmers Market in downtown Sarasota on July 6th and August 3rd. If you are out and about stop by and say HOWDY!

I do have a few performances coming up. On July 14th I will be performing along with others at the Dearborn Plaza in downtown Englewood. This event goes from 3pm - 6pm. On July 27th I will be performing in benefit for my friends at the ACMA listening room for the Florida Musicians Food Initiative in Ft Myers. All proceeds go to feed the local food bank. I will be doing another show with my FMFI friends at the Oasis Coffee House in Safety Harbor on August 17th.
